I’m using the appimage for TB and it works great. Minor problem though. The proper icon doesn’t show in the Dash to Dock on Manjaro. I only get a generic gear. You can see that this seems to be a common issue with some appimages, however, LibreOffice looks fine in the Dash to Dock and that was an appimage also.
Possibly the May be related to the StartupWMClass= key in the desktop file is wrong or missing, and/or the application does not set its window icon. Where did you get the Thunderbird AppImage from?
