Run AppImage for multiple user accounts

Open question for Linux enthusiast or expert.

I have installed an AppImage in the Applications folder and integrated it using AppImageLauncher on Pop_Os! 20.10 However it is only accessible from the account in which it
is placed.

I have multiple user accounts on a laptop, and I want every user to access the AppImage, hopfully without having to make multiple copies?

Maybe putting it into /opt/ instead of ~/Applications should do the trick? I’m not sure about what direcories AppImageLauncherd looks in but I think AppImaged looks in /opt/
