I have created a program to launch appimages.
L-PAIL Linux Portable AppImage Launcher
It’s a bash script using yad dialogs to launch executable files from usb.

L-PAIL does no integration. It simply lets you launch apps from a location. Mostly intended for external media. It’s very similar to linuxpa.
Create a directory for each program.
Put program directories in category directories under PortableApps directory.
