Did you try whether the resulting AppImage works on all still-supported LTS releases of Ubuntu?
Does not work for me, btw. I have opened an issue on GitHub.
I appreciate the interest, I managed to solve some reported issues, a new version is available in the github repositories the new appimage is now working with ubuntu Disco Dingo and Debian 10 (buster).
but I still need to fix some badges, vaapi, vdpau and blu-ray decrypt support
