Improving wiki and github dev UX

Hi I am new to the AppImage community. One of my issues on GitHub was closed without being addressed.

Perhaps there is no desire to have a good dev onboarding experience. Hence this topic. Those that are interested or want to improve UX from dev side here is a place.

Thank you for the notice. I think issues should generally not be closed before the original poster is satisfied, unless we have a clear WONTFIX situation. Hence, I have reopened the issue you linked above.
